The Overall Urban Plan of Beijing has assigned Daxing District the functional positioning of a Coordinated Development Demonstration Zone for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, a Pioneer Zone for Technological Innovation, a New Gateway for the Capital’s International Exchanges, and a Pilot Zone for Deepening Urban-Rural Development Reforms — a framework known as the “Three Zones and One Gateway”.

The total number of medical institutions in Daxing District ranks among the highest in Beijing. Among others, there are 8 tertiary hospitals and 866 medical institutions. Niantan Park
Opened to the public in 2011, Niantan Park covers an area of 2,500 mu (approximately 166.67 hectares), including 150 mu (10 hectares) of wetland and 700 mu (46.67 hectares) of water area.
Beijiancun Country Park
Located along the Yongding River in Beizangcun Town, Daxing District, the park borders Liuhezhuang Forest Farm to the north and the Yongding River Ecological Forest Health Trail to the south. Covering 40.13 hectares, it was completed and opened in November 2018.
Forest City Theme Park
Sited on the northern plot of Suncun Park, this park spans a total area of about 20 hectares.
Jiugong Wudian Ecological Leisure Park
Officially opened on April 29, 2025, the park covers an area of 447 mu (nearly 29.8 hectares).
Jiuke Urban Forest Park
Launched in May 2020, the park has a total area of around 529.66 mu (about 35.31 hectares), with a water system of approximately 2 hectares inside.

Scale: Total land area of 13.68 square kilometers, with a construction scale of 5.457 million square meters and a total investment of approximately 200 billion yuan.

2. Daxing International Tourism Resort
