Taking digital cultural creativity technology and new media services as the core, Daxing District promotes the digital and integrated development of new-generation information technology, expands the ecosystem of digital creativity, and encourages the integrated development of the digital content creation industry and emerging technologies such as new-generation information network, high-end software and integrated design, Internet of Things, and cloud computing; it also develops advanced data fusion technologies such as digital light and shadow exhibitions, builds a number of online museums and art galleries, as well as Beijing’s new audio-visual service center, innovation experimental zone for new audio-visual content, and creative research and development zone for new audio-visual equipment, and supports the development of such industries as digital creative equipment manufacturing, content creation, and ultra-high-definition video; in addition, it actively develops VR/AR terminals and application contents, opens innovative application scenarios, guides the application of VR/AR terminals in health care, culture, education, leisure and entertainment, and support the development of "Internet +" new technologies, new business forms and new modes.

Daxing District strengthens the research and development of technologies in key areas such as domestic chips and operating systems, enhances the autonomy of information security, builds the ecosystem of information technology application and innovation industry integrating key chips and devices, basic software, safe complete machine, service integration and application by relying on the "Phytium + Kylink + Security" PKS system, supports the research, development and production of information technology application and innovation products such as domestic safe computers, notebooks, all-in-ones, and servers, carries out the testing for software and hardware adaptation and compatibility, develops safe and reliable innovative products such as safe and reliable printers and copiers, and provides support for the development of independent and credible computing solutions.

As to the third-generation semiconductor industry, Daxing District focuses on third-generation semiconductor materials such as silicon carbide (SiC), strives to break through the technology blockade and monopoly-related "cutthroat" restriction, makes breakthroughs in key technologies such as defect suppression, rapid growth and seed crystal processing, develops large-scale conductive and semi-insulating products, accelerates the construction of industrial production lines for high-quality SiC crystal, speeds up the research and development of 8-inch conductive silicon carbide substrates and the industrialization of 6-inch semi-insulating substrates, actively expands SiC epitaxial device products, and attracts downstream enterprises engaged in power electronic devices, high-brightness light-emitting diodes, radio frequency microwave devices, SiC jewelry or optical crystals to settle in it.

Striving for the approval of the data circulation area under special regulation and the establishment of Beijing International Big Data Exchange by relying on the construction of the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone High-end Industries Area, Daxing District, in terms of digital trade industry, implements the pilot program for establishing a data exchange hub for multinational enterprises, accelerates the construction of the digital trade pilot zone and digital industrial park, carries out the pilot program for conducting the security assessment over cross-border data flow mainly in such fields as digital healthcare, cross-border e-commerce, finance, and aviation logistics, explores the realization of cross-border data flow in stages and categories, and the development path and innovative pilot program of digital trade, actively constructs application scenarios of digital trade, and promotes the innovative development of digital trade.

In terms of artificial intelligence industry, Daxing District actively keeps in line with the innovative achievements of three cities and one area (Zhongguancun Science City, Huairou Science City, Future Science City and Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area), gives full play to the advantage of space resource application capability, and creates and opens more smart application scenarios by relying on the construction of a new smart city with "one cloud and two platforms" (intelligent cloud, urban operation management platform and public service platform) and Airport Economic Zone in Daxing District; it also builds the artificial intelligence (AI) innovation and application demonstration zone, and by providing a testing and verification environment for AI companies and products, attracts the transformation and application of innovations such as man-machine hybrid intelligent technology and brain-inspired intelligent infrastructure in Daxing District, and introduces cutting-edge innovative companies engaged into core AI algorithms and AI chips, etc.
