China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) settles in Daxing District, and carries out comprehensive cooperation with Daxing District People's Government of Beijing Municipality in green construction development, solid waste treatment, water industry, water environment remediation, soil remediation, green energy supply, intelligent environmental protection, green lighting, financial investment and other related fields.

China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, formerly known as China Energy Conservation Investment Corporation, is now the only central enterprise whose main business is energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection. It is the largest technology-based service industrial group in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection in China.

CECEP owns more than 260 subsidiaries at various levels and 5 listed companies, which are distributed in about 30 provinces at home and 40 countries/regions abroad. Through relying on the planning, design and formulation of consulting plan, R&D and integration of technology, products and equipment, and engineering design and construction operation, CECEP builds an "overall industry chain" of energy conservation and environmental protection; it provides customers with integrated technology and high-end services in domestic and international markets. CECEP has an overall industry chain service mode integrating planning, design, consulting, construction, equipment manufacturing, investment and operation. It has built a supporting system with the focus on the technology platform, fund platform and industry platform, which gives better play to the control, influence and driving force of central enterprises in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection. In April 2020, CECEP was selected into the list of "Science and Technology Reform Demonstration Enterprises" by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

On September 10, 2020, CECEP and Daxing District People's Government of Beijing Municipality entered into a strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, both parties will carry out comprehensive cooperation in green construction development, solid waste treatment, water industry, water environment renovation, soil restoration, green energy supply, intelligent environmental protection, green lighting, financial investment and other related fields.

At the same time, CECEP will invest about CNY5.1 billion in Daxing District to build the "CECEP Beijing First" project, and move its group headquarters and a number of enterprises such as CECEP Wind-Power Corporation Co., Ltd. to Daxing District.

This project is the headquarters of the first central enterprise settled in Daxing District, integrates business sectors such as ecological and environmental protection, environmental restoration, new energy, and expanded health, and is expected to make the annual tax contribution of no less than CNY110 million after its implementation, which will provide good support for the formation of energy conservation and environmental protection industrial cluster in Daxing District and the realization of high-quality development.
