Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone, located in the center of southern Beijing, adjacent to Beijing Daxing International Airport, and important transportation hubs such as Jingdong "Asia No.1" and Jingnan Logistics Base, has a core area of 140,000 square meters for industrial innovation and radiates the surrounding area with a radius of 2 kilometers for industrial planning and development. On August 8, 2020, Daxing District released Beijing China-Japan Innovation Cooperation Demonstration Zone and Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone; on September 8, Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone was officially unveiled at the China International Fair for Trade in Services. Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone will take advantage of Japan’s world-leading hydrogen energy industry and use the construction of Beijing China-Japan Innovation Cooperation Demonstration Zone as the opportunity to promote its construction.
